website of JW Support Foundation

The JW Support Foundation is committed to improve the quality of life of women and children in the developing countries.
Education, health care and the promotion of Fair Trade are the main issues we focus on to achieve our goal.
We provide practical support to the poorest of the poor in the world.
In many countries poor women and children are barely functioning in the margins of society. If there is not enough money for food, you can be certain that there is no money at all for medical care or education.

One of our most important ways to help is to actively support local initiatives.
At this moment JW Support is present in Bangladesh and Ghana.
Bangladesh is widely known as one of the poorest countries in the world. Famines, floods, bomb explosions, it seems there is almost never any positive news about this country and its inhabitants.
On the page Financial Adoption you can read more about the children from our Savar project and on the Fair Trade we explain all about the Bengal textiles.
The Slumgirls page tells about our projects in the Dhaka slums and the Binnafoir hospital page brings you up to date on the new hospital that is now under construction.
All these projects are very expensive and for this reason we need donations from financial supporters.
In principle we provide help and support for any human being in need, regardless of colour, religion or race.
We focus on practical support and to illustrate this we have chosen Helping Hands as our logo. You can help us in many different ways.
Should you be interested to know how, please contact Joanna Wittekoek by email JW Support or by [telephone] 0031703477620.
